WORLD HERITAGE SITES (VNTHEM-01)
                         10 days / 9 nights



        This program is designed for enthusiasts of cultural and historical sites listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
        Discover Vietnam’s cultural and natural treasures.


        Day 1    HANOI
                 Welcome by our representative at the airport, transfer and check-
                 in at the hotel.

        Day 2    HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI
                 Exploration of Hoa Lu, once the capital of Vietnam in the 10th
                 century and the Trang An landscape complex. Boat trip and visit
                 to  natural  caves.  Meet  villagers  and  artists  before  attending  a
                 water puppet show.
        Day 3    HANOI – HALONG
                 Depart to Halong Bay, a UNESCO-listed site. Board a junk for an
                 overnight stay. Culinary activity on board.
        Day 4    HALONG – HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN
                 Morning sail and stopover to visit a natural cave. Return to Hanoi
                 and visit the imperial city of Thang Long before taking the night
                 train to Dong Hoi.

        Day 5    NIGHT TRAIN – DONG HOI – PHONG NHA
                 Welcome  by  our  representative  at  the  station,  transfer  to
                 the hotel and check-in. Day trip devoted exclusively to the
                 Phong Nha Caves.

        Day 6    DONG HOI – HUE
                 Drive to Hue, former capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty.
                 Discover the Imperial City. Visit to the  Thien Mu  (Heavenly
                 Lady) Pagoda, one of the city’s most venerated sites. Dinner in
                 a restaurant accompanied by Nha Nhac, an ancient Vietnamese
                 court music.
        Day 7    HUE – DANANG – HOI AN
                 Visit the Emperors’ Mausoleums, forming an immense park where
                 nature is omnipresent. Stop at a workshop to discover the secrets
                 of conical hat and incense stick making. Depart for Danang via the
                 “Hai Van Pass”. Then on to the port city of Hoi An.

        Day 8    HOI AN
                 Discover the old town of Hoi An, and stroll through its narrow streets
                 lined with traditional houses and its most symbolic monuments.
                 Visit a lantern factory and introduction to this ancestral technique.
                 Depart aboard a boat for a trip on the Thu Bon River, stopping off at
                 traditional ceramics and carpentry villages.

        Day 9    HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN
                 Depart to My Son, remnant of the ancient kingdom of Champa.
                 The archaeological site boasts some twenty monuments.

        Day 10   HOI AN – DANANG - DEPART



        We have not included the Hô Dynasty Citadel (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as it takes around 2 extra days to get there. We can
        add this site to the program on request.
